Commercial Description:  Hookey Gold is a very pale, crisp beer, confidently displaying it’s hop character. The first Hook Norton beer to feature American hops. A fruity aroma and a pleasant, light taste.Great refreshing taste with a nice bitter zesty refreshing after taste. Great Golden Ale.

I live in North Somerset not too far from this Brewery and had to try it. The bottle appeared in my local bottle shop and I love trying new beer, especially if its local.

Sweet caramel taste comes across immediately and quickly followed by the same citrus that was in the nose. Bitterness all the way through and the finish is extremely long lasting, dry and crisp.

I want disappointed, Hooky Gold is a tasty beer, definitely worth a try.

Aroma: A  fruity cirtus aroma.

Taste: Citrus light bitter Zesty aftertaste

Strength: 5.1% ABV
Brewery: Hook Norton Brewery
